The Ukrainian military command reported on Tuesday that a record 1,600 Russian soldiers had been killed in 24 hours. However, there is no confirmation from the Russian side. There are also reports of a rift between Russian troops and the Wagner Group in the Battle of Bakhmut. Elsewhere, Russian shelling targeted the city in the Donetsk region and surrounding villages. Moscow launched a three- pronged attack to eliminate Bakhmut's resistance. The nearby towns of Chasiv Yar and Kostinatiivka came under heavy shelling. This caused damage to many cars and houses.
