Ireland's 3 Fifty in Test against Sri Lanka

 After losing the first Test against Sri Lanka by an innings and 280 runs, Ireland made a strong start on the first day of the second Test. Ireland scored 319/4 on the first day with the help of three half-century innings. Ireland captain Andy VE JAT Balaban (95) shared a 115-run partnership with Paul Stirling (74). After Sterling's retirement, Lorcan Tucker (78*) and Curtis Kampfer (27*) shared an 87-run partnership. Prabath Jayasuriya got the first wicket for Sri Lanka. Sri Lanka bowled well in the first session. However, till the end of the day, the bowlers could not leave much impact.
