The High Court said, the courts should not become the mouthpiece of the government or the administration

The Lucknow bench has made strong remarks on the lower courts. The court canceled the order to attach the properties of a person named Wasim Khan and said – the District Magistrate should ensure that all the attached properties are returned to Wasim Khan. Justice Shamim Ahmed's bench said- 'Before attaching the property, the administration did not investigate the case under the Gangster Act, nor did the lower court follow the prescribed legal procedure for attaching the property. Courts should not act as mouthpieces of the government or the District Magistrates. The Court observed that the attached properties are ancestral to the accused.
